Food: 100 Mile House offers two major grocery stores including Save On Foods and FreshCo. The South Cariboo Farmers Market runs from May to October and offers a variety of locally produced fruits, vegetables, honey, baked goods, meats, and artisan gifts. There are also a number of indoor markets available during the winter months.
Furniture: New furniture can be purchased at Kondolas Furniture and Appliances or JJ’s Home Inspirations. Previously loved furniture can be found at The Door Stop Trading Post or on Facebook Marketplace or 100 Mile House Classifieds. Neighbouring cities such as Williams Lake and Kamloops offer a wider selection of furniture stores with delivery options.
Insurance: Home, vehicle, farm and other insurance coverage can be purchased through local businesses including HUB International, Western Financial Group, Barrett Insurance and Financial Services.

BC Services Card: It is important for residents of British Columbia to apply for a BC Services Card to access government-issued identification, publicly funded health services through Medical Services Plan (MSP) benefits, and to create an account for online services.
BC Drivers License: if you are moving from outside of province or Canada, whether permanently or temporarily, and wish to obtain/transfer a BC drivers license, follow the steps set forth by the Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC) under Drivers License and ID. Your BC Services Card may also include a drivers license ID.
